During the summer of 2012 Cory Dixon (MFA 2013), Megan Ewert (MFA 2013), Kristy Gordon (MFA 2013) and Nicolas Sanchez (MFA 2013) participated in a ten-week Artist-in-Residence Program on the campuses of the University of Shanghai and the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. At the end of the residency all four participants participate in the group exhibition Mutual Interests 1 at 99 Art Center, Shanghai and the 2012 International Artist Residency Exchange Exhibition at Can Art Gallery, Beijing. This exhibition includes some of the work created during or attributed to their residency experience.
